The Story Behind Bottlenecks Calculator
My name is saim, and I have been building and upgrading PCs for over 8 years. What started as a hobby turned into a passion after I made a frustrating mistake that thousands of PC users make every single day.
A few years ago, I saved up and bought a brand new RTX 3080 thinking it would transform my gaming experience. It did help, but not nearly as much as I expected. Frames were still dropping, stutters were still there, and I had no idea why. After weeks of research, I finally discovered the real problem my old Intel i5-8400 was bottlenecking my shiny new GPU the entire time. My CPU could not keep up, and my expensive graphics card was sitting there largely wasted.
